It's another warm and sunny summer's day today. I'm stuck at home, and after some xx hours of sleeping and another x hours of playing psp (while still in bed), I thought I'd do something a little more productive. Like blogging... though not before another few hours of reading movie scripts on http://www.imsdb.com. My friend introduced me to this site a while ago, it's a database of movie scripts and really, it might just beat forking out $12+ going to the movies, illegally downloading them, or waiting for them to be released on dvd before getting it legally there. I'm taking some time out from reading the many fantasy/ sci-fi books I have sitting on my shelf (running out of shelf space...) and reading manuscripts instead.

Reading scripts from that site made me realise that some movies are just plain stupid and not worth watching, and I didn't have to pay to find out~ plus, it's a good time-waster.

From Week 4, 2010

As per usual, my Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays have been just working. And church on Sunday. I started work fairly late on Monday and thought I could go to Pennant Hills a little early to visit the postbox. Before that, I sat at the Corner Cafe for some food and coffee. They make the nicest sandwiches- of chicken, cheese and asparagus, toasted.

From Week 4, 2010
Plus a Chai Latte. Bought some lavender from the man in the wheelchair outside selling flowers, and started writing a Happy Birthday card to my dear sister.

Didn't actually manage to send the parcel off at the post office because the queue was super long and I only had half an hour before my shift started. =( Sorry jie~

This post is going to be quite random because it's only Wednesday today and nothing eventful has really happened. Whipped up the camera for random things that happen, and this fruit is just strange. I've never seen it before- it looks like a lemon, but the inside is hollow, with two or three seeds inside. It's a really fragrant fruit and the skin is edible... just that there's nothing besides skin and seeds. I can see this being made into a marmalade, except you can't really get any juice out of it.

It's Latti =D

From Week 4, 2010
Before anyone thinks I'm a stalker, no, I wasn't stalking this girl. I don't even know who she is, but she does look a bit like Taylor Swift from the back. What caught my attention when I sat behind her on the bus was that she was holding a green... gameboy colour. I haven't seen anyone holding one of those in a decade! She was playing pokemon, and the green gameboy against her bright fluro pink nails was quite attention catching ^^''

From Week 4, 2010
Was waiting outside Townhall yesterday and they've put up new flower decorations near the statue of Queen Elizabeth.

From Week 4, 2010
On a closer look at the board, it's to celebrate Chinese New Year- the Year of the Tiger~ my parents' year =) Both of them are tigers! They eat everyone else. Except maybe the dragon.

That night, we met up with my brother to watch the movie "Up in the Air", starring George Clooney. Quite interesting, the script was good, just waiting for the script to be uploaded on imsdp so I can read it =) Yes, I'm a bit obsessed with that site right now, I'll get over it soon enough.

From Week 4, 2010
Got home and my brother wanted to take a new profile picture. It's not often he asks me for help in anything because... well, he's really the independent type of guy who does everything himself. I guess it's kinda hard to take a photo of yourself, especially with a dslr camera. I decided, I'm not cut out to be a photographer. It's more than just skills- you need muscles for it. Do photographers go to the gym and carry weights?? Heck, I carried that thing with my right hand (being a leftie, I was made to realise how useless my right arm is...) and it was sore afterwards. My brother was scared that I'd drop that damn brick more than anything else ^^'' He wanted to take it in darkness and I can't even see him properly through the view finder, much less focus on him, so that was a bit of a let's-take-the-photo-and-hope-for-the-best thing. He seems ok with the end results though, and that is after, of course, photoshop, etc... he knows his stuff, I don't.

I'm not sure, it's meant to be a tribute to someone who took a very similar-looking photo. Interesting... I shall bug icie to let me play with his $xxxx worth camera more often =)

... lazy ppls, you're ALL meant to be working!

They don't sell gameboy colours anymore, do they ^^'' nor their games... it's quite sad how things just become obsolete so quickly these days.

I might still have my colour gameboy around somewhere... it's purple too. I forgot to check out your PSP at badminton!

yea you did =P I brought it even and you forgot. Who needs a purple gameboy when you can get a purple psp? Though in another 5 years or so, it might be the psp that is selling for $1 on ebay =(

No one likes PSPs :P *pfft*

My application got approved for the place in potts point! D:

If I find the Gameboy during the move you're free to have it :P

Will the Gameboy come with cartridges where you have to switch the GB on and off many times to get to the game you want?

Good point. What games do you have for the gameboy? =D
